The children have been actively involved in a wide range of activities and have discovered they have many talents that they hadn’t previously discovered. It wasn’t all about the sport. The children have discovered new places in the world from studying the world maps and globe (or planet Earth as they prefer to call it). We have found each country has a different flag and celebrated with our own flag ceremony. The Olympic flame (that never goes out) was part of our celebration as it made its way around Pre-School before the medal presentations. Most importantly our world can come together and celebrate together through sport and friendship — we hope that this can be the way of the future for every aspect of our world!
